We_Crociferi, Venice

The popular Combo Venezia hostel and students' residence (formerly the We_Crociferi) has an attractive location next to the Gesuiti Church in Cannaregio, only a short distance from the Alilaguna airport-boat and ACTV vaporetto piers at Fondamenta Nove.

The hostel occupies a 12th Century convent with an arcaded courtyard where guests can be seen lounging on low stone seats between the columns when they aren't hanging out in the reception area's café-bar.

Accommodations include beds in mixed or all-female dormitories, twin rooms, and apartments with up to three bedrooms. A buffet breakfast is available at a price that's modest by Venice standards.

How to reach Combo Venezia from the Alilaguna Blue Line airport boat at Fondamenta Nove:

Combo Venezia hostel directions map from Fondamenta Nove

  1. As you leave boat pier "A," turn right and look for a narrow street on your left: the Salizada dei Spechieri.

  2. Walk a short distance inland on the Salizada Spechieri, past the Gesuiti Church to the Campo dei Gesuiti.

  3. Combo Venezia will be on your left, shortly after you pass the church.
