Ca' della Corte photo

The Ca' della Corte is an upscale B&B housed in a 16th Century building near the Piazzale Roma, about five minutes on foot from airport buses and taxis. It's located on a tiny neighborhood square and has a private courtyard where you can relax outdoors in good weather.

Its 10 air-conditioned rooms include doubles, triples, and quads--all with free Wi-Fi. Unusually for Venice, the Ca' della Corte also has in-room equipment and supplies for making your own coffee or tea.

How to reach Ca' della Corte from Piazzale Roma:

Ca' della Corte map directions

  1. On the tree-lined side of the Piazzale Roma, look for the central path that leads toward the water.

  2. A canal is just beyond the trees. Continue straight ahead over the stone footbridge.

  3. Turn right immediately after crossing the bridge and walk along the water, following the curve of the canal on the Fondamenta Rio Novo.

  4. Immediately passing the Hotel Moresco (a red building that you can't miss), you'll see a bridge on your right and a street on your left. Turn left into the street, which is named Calle Sbiacca.

  5. The Ca' della Corte will be a short distance down the street at number 3560, behind an archway with an iron gate facing the Corte Surian.

From the Marittima cruise terminals:

  1. Take a free shuttle bus (if available), a taxi, or the People Mover just outside the port gates to the Piazzale Roma.

  2. Follow our directions from Piazzale Roma.

  1. As you leave the station, turn right and walk toward the modern Calatrava Bridge (a.k.a. the Ponte della Costituzione).

  2. Cross the bridge to the Piazzale Roma.

  3. Bear left and follow our directions from Piazzale Roma.
