An Apartment in MontmartreMore photos (continued)
From the living room, you can step onto a wrought-iron balcony with views of the Rue de Steinkerque (right inset photo) and the Butte of Montmartre. The fifth floor is set back slightly from the rest of the building and is high above the busy tourist street that leads up to Sacré-Couer Basilica. This makes the apartment extremely quiet and peaceful, even when tour-bus crowds and local shoppers are walking up the street with its souvenir shops and discount clothing stores.
